welcome to my webhome. my name is kate and i've been making music for the better part of two decades now. when i was much younger, i used to get lost in the woods behind our house in the small town in which i grew up and sing to the trees when i found myself with no direction and dark upon me. later, with much smaller hands than i have today, i lifted myself high enough to press the keys of an old cableNelson piano that was restored right before we moved out of town to the country. i'm happiest when sitting at the bench of any keyboard. in my college days, i was lucky enough to play a harpsichord. subsequently, i've been fortunate to play many pipe and hammond organs - none of which i have the space/money to own as well as many moogs, prophets, a lovely yamaha cs80 and now i'm resigned to just playing fake instruments with my computer and sometimes an accordion, clarinet, or harp along with my old kt88 and ms2000. when i find words, i sing. i make music for enjoyment and not profit, but i am working on an ep with all original artwork to purchase if anyone is so inclined. other than that, i have mp3s and soon frac that are available now.
